Work

Boiler house revamp project - involved taking extensive site surveys to produce: 3D modelling of equipment, access platforms, stairs and new/existing pipework; Navisworks visualisation walk-through for review & acceptance; 2D plot plans, sections and elevations for the piping; produced data sheets for new vessels, stairs/platforms and equipment; and finally producing and issuing the pipework detail drawings for fabrication.

Data centre chilled water system
- extensive 3D piping layouts (using AutoCAD Plant 3D) and 3D general mechanical design works in compliance with the project BIM requirements. The project was co-ordinated through Navisworks visualisation software with regard to the other site services. The piping was generally designed as modular skid units with bolted connections thus reducing the need for on-site welding where possible.

Paper Machine Installation
- project existing machine moved and installed within a new building overseas. Site visits were require to liaise with the client to ensure the new steam & condensate system piping design was free of installation problems. Autocad 3D model, Navis works visualisation files, fabrication Iso drgs, piping plans/elevations and sections were supplied.

Paper Machine Rebuild - involved a number of site visits to measure the existing steam & condensate system pipe work with a view to undertaking extensive system modifications to suit the new system. The P&ID was issued to Molgrand Ltd and Autocad 3D models, Navis works visualisation files, fabrication Iso drgs, piping plans, elevations & sections were issued to the client. Molgrand Ltd oversaw the onsite installation. The drawings were coloured to show the new & existing pipework.
